sit down tight.
Close your eyes,
listen to silent cries.
knees to your chin,
walls closing in.
You're inside a box,
in the ocean, where it rocks.
No light there,
only darkness for you to share.
Imagine yourself floating faraway,
nothing to worry, nothing to say.
You hear the slow ebbing of waves,
echoes, like in a cave.
The world you left behind,
you traded for a box full of nothing.
It will take you to a place that was.
Stretches of fields full of flowers,
a light breeze blowing for hours.
Imagine yourself running around,
feeling freedom full and abound.
The rolling hills behind you,
a beauty, a picturesque view.
but there lay a box on the shore,
where the world, hatred, problems and more,
sit there watching paradise.
It was, could have been, motionless it lies.
Imagine all of these,
the reality is
what we miss, can be a surprise...
