Dead cats are everywhere!!
everytime i take a quick glance around me, i'm seeing dead cats, proliferating as weird imaginations around my surroundings . i've become a victim to exam paranoia and i can't believe it. tomorrow is the day we are to begin skinning our cat specimens. 11 cats were subjected to a rigorous preservation process through the intravenous injection of formalin for two weeks to prevent premature decomposition, because we still have to use the bodies for our examination. Hopefully, rhizopores would'nt grow inadvertently and destroy the muscle tissue because it is the medium which we will utilize during our oral exams. we also have to follow a strict procedure of skinning the cadaver. it must be skinned only on one side, either the left or right side, i don't know yet. and it has to be longitudinally skinned. i'm feeling the pressure now. oh my God.
i'm extremely enjoying this..hehe
and oh yeah. we have to have these materials by tomorrow:
1. a very sharp scalpel
2. forceps
3. spatula
4. surgical scissors
5. surgical gloves
6. two garbage bags
7. katsa
8. lengthy plastic cover (to cover the body for storage)
i think that's all of 'em...yep.
