Bloopers

I was in Cebu yesterday. I was supposed to begin processing my student visa for Japan because September is coming so fast already. I got all the necessary requirements with me to the travel agency before hand, and packed everything in an envelope. It did not occur to me though that processing the visa would take more than a day, 2 weeks, even. I thought that I'd finish immediately, but then they said they needed 2 weeks for it. So I left the requirements, including my passport and certificate of eligibility at the agency.

It was 1 in the afternoon, and I was thinking maybe I could still make it to the 1.30pm Ceres bus to Lilo-an. An hour into the 4 hour ride, I suddenly remembered that I'm supposed to travel to Vietnam on Monday, and I left my passport at the agency! It was a facepalm moment for me. No, more like palm-smack-in-the-middle-of-my-forehead moment. How clumsy. Why didn't I see that before? So I had to head back to the ciudad and get my passport before they submit it to Manila. Else I wouldn't be able to travel to Vietnam, and I have tickets and hotel reservations pa naman. Buhay.. I would've been home by 6pm if it wasn't for my unreasonably stupid preemptive actions. Instead I got home by 12 midnight.

But at least I'm still going to Vietnam. Although I have to go back to Cebu immediately after my return to submit yet again my passport. Hopefully this time, I will get my visa, and ultimately end up in Tokyo by September.
