Of Money and Boredom

Broke. Major. Why on earth do I have to be broke at this crucial moment in my life? Where is my fairy godmother and my wishes? Crap.

This is hard. Superrr! Imagine I resorted to thinking of soliciting from politicians enough funds to get me through until September. But fortunately I still had enough sense in me not to take that social suicide path. Good thing. Else I'd end up as a desperate loser. God, just where are my family's riches hidden? I'm supposed to be a haciendero's son.. But I'm no conio noh. I never will be. I'm too nerdy.

I'm working my ass off to get me some-some these days. Teaching assistantship here, research assistantships there, writing, the works. Hayy. Buhay nerd na gwapo (forgive me, couldn't resist). I'm doing volunteer work, too, just to get me up and out of the house lest I drown in boredom. Crap. Any generous souls out there, lurking in the corners of this virtual world, hear my plea.. hehehe
