Sitting here in front of the pc, alone in the house, i gather myself and think deep about the happenings in my community... if not for the constant pelting of matchstick explosives from my neighbors outside our front lawn, i'd be more productive by now.
anyway, i find the congregation of people from the Portal East building to the Obdulia hotel, from Real street to the Boulevard, personally irritating and encroaching. people from all over the province have literally come down to Dumaguete and devoured the serenity within its system(based on my opinion, being from Dumaguete and all). and i find it intrusive, really. not that i regret the reality of all of this, its just that i am longing for that Dumaguete it was a few weeks back. Dumaguete after all, is a vital ingredient for the Christmas of many.
Another thing of dire comeuppance. the steady increase of smoke-belching, cough inducing, and noisy vehicles here is a lot to worry about because it has stirred the very existence of paradise, a monicker slowly being associated with the DC. yes, the fact that there are many who are choosing Dumaguete to be a part of their lives is indeed a very comforting thought. it reels in major businesses and entrepreneurs to the richness of the possibilities in its ever-growing system. however, consequences are inevitable and these consequences may be the rope that would anchor down the City from further development. i have no way of putting my thoughts into words as of this moment, but i keep thinking about what the future holds. and i need to change that. i should keep thinking about what the present holds..
in any case, these are just a few of my petpeeves...
furthermore, unnerving things keep happening and i am now completely certain, i can call myself normal, in all its discerning definition... i am normal...

Deadly Menu
Silliman's proximity to Dumaguete's downtown area is something few people appreciate. I, having been dubbed as having the talent of eating good food, impose this very fact because it eliminates waste of time travelling to and from school to my favorite tambayans. i recently ate at Chantilly here in Dumaguete, which, not surprisingly is located just across the SU Portal East building's south side. What i found hilarious about this particular restaurant is their menu. it is attached to a two piece half inch thick wood wallet. it combines sturdiness and self defense in one. i pondered if ever the abu sayyaf( quite impossible, really) would come to Dumaguete, i would eat at Chantilly for their accessible self protection weapon of choice...haha

nahipo na ako ng maraming beses ng mga nakakatakot na bakla
i've been violated yet again, recently by two very intimidating looking big gay people at a school here in dumaguete city. the unigames invaded dumaguete city for a whole week 2 weeks ago. i managed to watch a few games during that period. most of the games were held in different local schools in the city. one of those schools is Foundation University. i watched a really cool volleyball game there between two universities from manila, Adamson vs. Rizal Tech. ata yun. after the event, people started to pour down from the bleachers to exit. tapos when i was at the mouth of the exit na, i encountered a group of "different" people, as i walked to the pathway outside, they stopped and stared at me...one of them asked were i studied. i told them i studied at Silliman University. one shrieked, apparently happy that i was not a student from a particular school. i then overheard them talking, and realized one of the gay dudes was actually a faculty of that school. the next thing that happened was so unexpected, i practically had goosebumps. well, naturally, others would, too. one gay got close to me despite the crowd edging to get out of that area. she linked her hand in mine for a couple of steps, backed off, stayed behind me and traced her massive, hairy arms around my sides...eeww... what an experience.. i think the other people noticed, too. that was a large crowd after all. that wasn't the first time though...how rude are people nowadays?
