I'm back on earth after the previous post. :P

I just found out that Venus Raj, the Philippines rep to the Ms. Universe pageant, won the chicken wing eating contest in Diablos Cantina at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday (late, I know). There is one sure thing that I got from this news - Filipinos are dead competitive. Raj might have thought that winning the contest gave her the necessary boost to the media but clearly what she did was show the whole world what the Filipinos can do just to get to somewhere. And I don't mean that in a positive way. Her win triggered cogs in the heads of many people to work out the reason for her desperation. To win. To be recognized. And this does not sit well with a lot of people. She might not be aware of this, but being to competitive, no, winning a lot of unimportant things, is borderline crazy. Why the hell would anyody want to win an eating contest? Let me be more specific: Why would a beauty queen bastardize the qualities she has for a chicken wing eating contest? But this is just me.hahaha
